Simply lucid dreaming plays a role here
But before I get to its role I'd love to define it as : the dream in which person can control the events and be conscious enough that this is not real.
Listen to a calming music meanwhile reading the article, helps you understand the vibes and drown into them...
Have you ever dreamed that you're taking a bus to school and an incident begins to occur but instead of causing a damage you survive?
Could you ever turn a severe nightmare into an inspiring dream?
Well here are some tips showing you how to practice lucid dreaming, which helps you directly to control your nightmares and have a better sleep, likewise, figuring out your deep sentiments and ideas in your subconscious mind and work on them.
- Hypnotherapy uses the ability of lucid dreaming to reach the person's buried intentions in order to cure or to preserve.
- Write your dreams once you wake up and before anything takes place in your day, writing dreams will help you explore yourself and your objectives
As well as knowing the pattern that is usually shown in the events, maybe that helps you next time being aware of what you see and control it
Maybe today you watch yourself falling down from a high place and you have what's titled as "acrophobia"
But next time you wear a parachute!!!
- Train yourself every night to dream awake AKA "hypnagogic"
It's a phase when we all imagine ourselves doing actions right before we sleep, some of them will be sorted to be compulsive and some will be so willed.
- Meditation helps a person on widening his own imagination as well as controlling it
- Also train your subconscious mind to absorb this experience by repeating phrases encouraging the lucid dreaming
Such as "I won't fall tonight" in case you see yourself falling
"My car won't crash", "my boss won't fire me", " the monster won't eat my butt" AKA "mnemonic induction "
- Lucid dreams often happen during Rapid Eye Movement AKA REM
And to have this stage occurring it requires an amount of tiredness in which the person immerse in deep sleep, caused by an anodyne or biologically.
- Make your sleeping environment always calm and dark or keep it comfy however you like, the connection between the reality and the dream is how you treat yourself before sleeping
If you drink caffeine you surely would have troubles sleeping hence lucid dreaming... there was an experiment that included people being affected by objects around them, colors and ambient lights before they sleep... and it's surprising how each object makes a person dreams something, the visions were varieties, so sometimes we can control how we dream by making ourselves feeling more rested in real life
If you feel safe with your teddy bear keep it beside you
If it scares you discard in your wardrobe
If red light keeps you alerted turn it off
If it keeps your atmosphere warm don't
It's odd, right?!!!!
I personally had a dream today and I'm an acrophobic person who panics from heights, I saw myself on a bus and it was taking me and the passenger down from a bridge, instead of seeing myself dying I twisted the events and worked them in my own favor.
That happened because I always record my dreams whether within stories or texts or prompted articles like this one.
Just letting it go helps a lot
I train myself to imagine before I sleep
And I practice this daily...
And I'm a person who's also quite connected to her own dreams...
Later I promise you will be able to distinguish between reality and the actual nightmares you are seeing
According to the psychotherapy plan I'm taking meds that help me sleeping and one of their side effects is to have nightmares...
But because I could control myself it happened to control these nightmares not every time but at least rarely is better than nothing at all.
Good morning or evening whenever you read this article.
